From touring drummer to running coach and therapist.

After spending years touring the world playing drums in bands, I started my career in this industry in the form of Personal Training and team management, before integrating Sports Massage and Remedial Exercise into my practice.

I wanted to expand the depth of my clinical knowledge so gained a Masters’ degree in Osteopathy. I’ve since been lucky enough to have been invited to lecture at educational facilities and professional events, as well as writing for industry magazines and popping up on the odd podcast and guest spot here and there!

I lead workshops for teams of therapists, coaches, and athletes as well as being lucky enough to be the lead tutor for Movement Therapy Education in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and heading the Injuries module on the Body Type Nutrition Practical Academy. I’m really driven to help break down barriers between professions and get us all communicating more efficiently to help the people we deal with each day.

In my day-to-day practice, I have worked with a wide audience ranging from geriatric clients wishing to improve their quality of life, to GB athletes in various sports in both therapy and coaching environments.

Running really changed things for me both professionally and personally. After successfully coaching numerous recreational runners to complete anything from 5k’s to Ultra Marathons, I now aim to lead from the front taking on bigger challenges every year myself too. I’m looking forward to pushing my own personal boundaries across the next few years and would love to help you do the same!

Why RockStar Runners?

I grew up through my late teens through my early twenties touring different countries with bands playing music and having that amazing feeling of playing to crowds and feeling on top of the world.

It’s easy to lose that feeling of self-confidence and that’s what I see a lot with runners I work with.

Whether that be due to re-occurring injuries, or just not having the confidence to put themselves out there, because of their beliefs around themselves and their capabilities.

With my skill set and experience, I’ve seen that I can make a HUGE difference in this area.

My aim is to help runners, like you, get that ‘top of the world’ feeling back. To look at their achievements and be PROUD of what they’ve accomplished.

To help runners just like you find that spark after rubbish experiences and provide a path of DRIVE and EXCITEMENT again
